Chanel & Aldo had a specific look in mind for their wedding day photography. In particular, they wanted their reception to reflect a celebration with family and friends, a more playful and candid side. Many of Aldo’s family members flew all the way from Peru to attend the festivities, and despite there being a slight language barrier on occasion, everyone had a fun and joyful evening. Love knows no bounds!

Chanel & Aldo are both very easy going, laid back, and down to earth people. I could tell that from the first time I met them, and I liked being around them right from the start. They were quick to show their playful and affectionate side when it came time to begin shooting, and you can see the love in their eyes when they look at one another. These two lovebirds are the perfect match!

The Albion Basin was an incredible backdrop to Alisha’s stunning bridals. We hit the perfect day, and took advantage of the late-day sun and wildflowers in full bloom. Richard joined in on the shooting a few days later for formals at the Salt Lake Temple, where we capped off the night with a beautiful night shot in front of the temple.

What an amazing couple Ali & Brooks are, not to mention their very special families that I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with during their wedding festivities. Family is important to both Ali and Brooks, and this is evident in the images that were captured. Between a beautiful wedding at the Salt Lake Temple, followed by a picture-perfect reception in Ely, Nevada, we ended up with a huge array of spectacular images to share. I’m not sure where to begin, because I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever taken clients to shoot in such a large variety of locations before, but it was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever participated in. Ali has a remarkable eye for detail, and she had a very specific look in mind for her backyard reception. Her grandmother’s treasured collection of tea sets provided the main theme for the celebration, along with many beautiful flowers and whimsical pieces that Ali incorporated into her decor. This is a huge post, but you deserve to see the details that went into this very special wedding! Enjoy!
