Sweet Peyton & Taylor were the first couple I have shot at the Ogden Temple since it has been rededicated. The recipe of this beautiful location, a little romance, and a quick storm blowing in made for some beautiful images! I’m so happy for these two!
The San Juan Islands are our family’s favorite place to vacation. Several years ago, Emery and I were driving by this beautiful little lane, called Frog Song Trail, when we both agreed what a special place it would be for bridal pictures. I promised her that when she got engaged, I would take her pictures there. I love these images of Emery & Nate, and their sweet “first look” together.
In an effort to play catch-up, I’m combining both bridals and formals from this favorite couple of mine! I’ve known April since she was in preschool. It’s been a joy to watch her grow up into the spectacular woman that she is today. These two lovebirds are the perfect match!
It was a beautiful evening at the Timpanogos Temple this week, where I was able to wrap up my shooting with this darling couple. I’m so sad I won’t be in town to shoot their August wedding, but I’m so glad I had the chance to get to know them.
This is the main body of your blog post. If we can give you once piece of advice, keep it brief.
I’m so grateful that I was given the opportunity to document this amazing couple’s love for one another as they prepared for their Salt Lake wedding. For some couples, sharing a good laugh just comes so easily, and my favorite images are the ones of Michelle cracking up over some secret little comment that Jordan whispered to her while we were shooting. Their wedding images will be coming soon, but here are some of my favorites to get started with. Many thanks to Michelle for sharing her sweet engagement story below:
“Jordan and I met on Valentine’s Day at a baptism for a member of the Young Single Adult Ward back home in Texas. Shortly after, he asked me out on our first date. We had an amazing time and from then on were together pretty much every day after. We would talk, laugh, dance at the park, go hiking, or go out and just enjoy being together. We learned that we were going to be attending the same university in Idaho, among other coincidences between us. Jordan was so sweet, he took me to the Franklin Mountains in El Paso and we shared our first kiss at the very top! On March 20th, he asked me to go on a picnic at a park near my house. The day was perfect and after eating and talking for a while, he turned to me and asked where I saw us in the future. After giving him my response, I asked him the same question, to which his answer was putting a ring on my finger and asking me to marry him. Of course I said yes! Later, he told me that he knew it was right, so why wait. It was the biggest and best surprise of my life! We have fallen more deeply in love each day.”
